Been using this app since shortly after it was first released years ago and it only keeps getting better. Its nice having something decent like this that doesnt cost much. Felt it was about time I left a review. Thank you for creating such a beautiful and user friendly app!

This app is great. Im really into star gazing and learning about the wonders of the universe. If youre like me, youll love this app too. It keeps me informed on up to date events and I open it up when I cant quite identify a constellation. Super handy and easy to use.

I tried this app and expected it would be like several others I have used (buggy,crashing,etc).I was pleased when I opened it.Its easy to use and can be configured to my location. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone. Its completely stable and performs as advertised. At $3.00 its a bargain...

I would love to give you 5 stars but I am having a small glitch. A vertical black strip down the middle of the screen. Ive restarted my phone and still have the issue. If you know of anything I could do please let me know. Thanks!

I cant think of a better design for an app that does what this app does. It sounds out the constellations as you point to them! Ive been using this app for 5 years now. Get it!

Pocket universe is a very intricate, easy, and exciting app to use. Even in my light polluted area, I am able to enjoy the many interests of the night sky with this app. Detailed images and text are some things this app does not lack. It would be nice to be able to see the myths behind all of the planets and constellations, but other than that I would not change a thing about Pocket Universe. I would recommend this app to beginning and expert astronomers all across the board. Happy star gazing!

Great value, accurate and long lasting app. I already have this app for a few years and Im constantly getting updates and tweaks for it. It has many useful and informative features but obviously the "virtual sky" navigation is the one to purchase it for.

Updating my review with a request to the developer that he update this wonderful app for iOS 8. Also, please add an extension: the sun, moon, etc. info from your Home page would be nice. Just found this app and downloaded it immediately. I was a Palm user and had an app called Planetarium which is the best Palm app ever. Could not find the equivalent on iOS until now. Pocket Universe has everything you could want for casual star gazing.

This app is easy to use and has a lot of great features. The developer stays on top of it with useful updates. Easily one of my three favorite apps. I use it often.

Pocket Universe has a lot of features that make it a great app for use when stargazing or when planning for an evening of clear skies. The various options allow you to tailor the experience to include what you need while doing away with what you dont need for that session. Other apps clutter the sky with over-sized representations of deep-sky objects, but this app lets you choose what you want to see (and the objects are represented at a more reasonable, but still useful, size).

I had several different astronomy apps before I bought my new phone, but this is the only one I installed on my new one because its hands down the best. Easy to use, accurate and does everything short of pointing my scope for me.

I have used Pocket Universe for a few years now and after trying others I find this is the one I come back to. I just like the way it is put together with added features like news for the month and for the day . Suggestions as to what objects deserve some observation and other useful suggestions for beginner to long time user. All the apps these days do a good job of being hand held planetariums but I just feel puniverse goes that little bit farther and better. Thanks for the App .

I have used the program for several years & with only small bugs is a outstanding program. It is really helpful viewing the night sky. It is more impressive yet on the IPad. You cannot go wrong.

One night me and my parents were wondering what this really bright star or planet was in the sky. So I thought I would try out my new app and see if it works. So I did and it worked so good I had to tell everybody about it. And if u were wondering the star was not a star but Venice.

It used to work perfectly but now it cant even find north. Bummer

Tried to get orbital period from Pluto and that app knows nothing about Pluto....

Good app, but it should use the “While Using” option for sharing your location. There’s no reason for to have access to your location “Always”.

The little additions you make to your updates are amusing and deep. I enjoy reading them!

Good job, guys, whoever the writer is for the Machine story. The app, of course, was and still is outstanding.
